The new St. Caharines Skatepark is DONE! The grand opening took place on Sept 10th - hundreds of people jammed the park during the event. It was pure chaos pretty much all day... and continues to be jammed almost every day since! Big thanks to Mayor Rigby, Ald Carol Disher and City Council, Kathy Moldenhauer, the Skatepark Comittee...and everyone else that donated thier time, efforts and money to make this dream a reality. With 2 new parks in the area you're seein alot of old skaters comin outta the woodwork to session it...and you can't hardly blame em - its been a long 15 yrs waiting - so cut em a little slack ...and something that helps put a lotta sh*t into perspective...Gonz turned 36 on June 1st!
